Krabloonik Restaurant and Dog Sledding is pleased to announce Danny and Gina Phillips as the new Directors of Operations.
Danny has over 12 years’ experience working with sled dogs as a musher, trainer and teacher. Danny found his “calling” 12 years ago after a season as a rookie musher at Krabloonik. He continued his career working with Iditarod sled dogs, and guiding guests into the backcountry of Colorado. Guests have included “at risk” youth as well as all types of celebrities who shared his passion for dog sledding. Danny was hired as the Kennel Manager for Krabloonik this past winter season and has fallen in love again with the sled dogs and traditions at Krabloonik.
Gina Phillips, Danny’s wife, has 20 years’ experience working in the hospitality industry ranging from remote luxury lodges to night clubs. Gina has a passion for working to provide the ultimate experience in the tourism industry. Danny and Gina continued their careers in Idaho as the owners of a touring, training, and educational dog sledding kennel near Sandpoint, Idaho. Danny and Gina say this about their new promotion, “We could not feel more honored to be asked to be a part of continuing the longstanding legacy of Krabloonik.”
Danny and Gina look forward to being instrumental in the future success of Krabloonik by bringing fresh ideas and a positive community involvement.
Daily operations will be managed by Danny and Gina beginning May 1st.
