A Krabloonik Dog Sled Tour is the best way to explore the pristine Colorado backcountry. For over an hour, our dog sledding tours twist and wind through Aspen on an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime journey. Each sled, which can carry two adults and a small child, is pulled by 8-10 Alaskan Husky sled dogs and are guided by an experienced musher. Our dogs are born and bred to run and they love the thrill of the Snowmass backcountry just as much as you will. Whether sunny or snowing, there’s no better way to experience the Aspen wilderness than in the seat of one of our dog sled tours.
Come join us this summer season at Krabloonik. Learn about the history of dogsledding and visit the dogs as they rest and train in preparation for next winter.”
Krabloonik Restaurant in Snowmass Village began as a way of giving people an enjoyable meal after experiencing a dog sledding adventure. Today, you don’t have to go dog sledding, or even visit with the dogs (although you’ll be missing something if you don’t) to enjoy the food.
Morning and Afternoon rides include a lunch in the restaurant and the Twilight Ride includes an apres type sampling. Receive a free appetizer by making an ala carte dinner reservation in the restaurant after your Twilight Ride.
