General Information

What do you wear for a dogsled ride?

Dress like you are going skiing.  Snow pants, snow jacket, hat, gloves and boots.  Don’t forget your goggles and sunglasses!  When the dogs are running they can kick up snow…you don’t want to end up spending the entire ride with your eyes closed! Plus, the sun in Colorado is very bright so make sure the little ones eyes are covered as well.  We do have extra over boots and over coats in case the weather is exceptionally cold that day.  The sleds also have blankets in them to keep you warm.

How many people can fit in a sled?

We can fit two average size adults and one child under the age of 9 years old in each sled. There are very specific reasons for this, the most important of which is to keep the dogs and our guests safe at all times. If you think there could possibly be a weight concern please call us and let us know and we can make accommodations. The weight limit for each sled is approximately 415 lbs.

How much does it cost?

$495 per adult and $295 per child, ages 3-9.  Our dogs and guests are the most professional and skilled that you will find in the industry. Krabloonik has been in business for 46 years and we feel that we are top notch.  Our trail is thrilling and the dogs are the sweetest you will find. This is a memory for a lifetime!

What is the cancellation period?

Our cancellation period is 14 days before the ride during the high season (opening day until January 9th) and 72 hours before the ride during regular season (January 10th – closing day) for full refunds. If cancellation is under the specific time frame all reservations will be charged in full.

Do you ever cancel a ride due to weather etc..?

We usually do not cancel sled rides.  We go out in snow, rain, or shine!  The only time we will cancel a sled is for trail safety or if something unexpected occurs on our end. If we cancel your sled you would receive a full refund.
